My name is Lizeth Yarlequé and I’m a Documentary Filmmaker/DOP, Fixer, Producer and drone pilot from Lima, Peru.
The passion for understanding my culture, its locations, idiosyncrasy and the great connection I have with people has led me to film and work on documentaries aired on the biggest broadcasters from Europe, North America and New Zealand like BNNVARA: Dutch TV, ZDF: German channel, Warner Bros Netherlands, NOP-Dutch TV, ZDF/ARTE German TV, ORF TVTHEK: Austrian TV, Galileo German TV, TF1 French TV, Univision, Discovery channel, CNN, Business Insider, The Goldman Environmental Prize USA, United Nations, SKY News, Bleacher Report, Al Jazeera, TRT World, Banijay Italia, United Nations, Rainforest US and many more.
I am currently the correspondent for the TV Dutch channel Metropolis from Netherlands. Having filmed in Peru and Alaska, USA for them.

What I can do for you?
1. Researching characters and locations for your project
Finding people to be filmed it is not the same to deal with logistics, especially if you want to highlight something unique in your story and the proudness of us. As a Peruvian, this comes with a personal motivation to find out the best we have here and that really represent us as a culture, as a country, with our people, traditions, beliefs and cosmovisions. Besides, I also come from a pre columbian culture called ‘Mochica’ from the north coast of Peru.
People in Peru is most of the time very motivated to show about themselves and I have an extense experience to connect with them either in the jungle, andes or coast of Peru.
2. Fixer in Peru/ Film production for your project
And of course after finding the stores and locations, I am the person who comes to confirm the project with the characters and the international directors. I deal with all the coordinations that this involves, like finding the right company for transportation, the best options for hotels, a detailed breakdown of all the costs the project might incur, filming permits, etc.
And the best of it! You pay directly to each supplier, not extra commision for any intermediary company and a fair way of work for everybody!
3. Filmmaker, DOP and drone operator for your project in Peru
And if you are a company that needs someone local to film your project or case study in Peru, I am also here! I was the only filmmaker who got permits to film inside Machu Picchu during lockdown! It was filmed for a German TV Documentary. Besides countless projects I filmed for German, Brithish, French, Austrian, Canadian and American companies. I am currently the correspondent and filmmaker in Peru for the Dutch channel Metropolis.
I have my own equipment: Sony Cameras 4K, G-master lenses and drones with an official pilot license.
And although I am based in Peru, I have filmed projects in Alaska, US, Colombia and Easter island for international TV programs. For filming services I can go anywhere! 🙂
Finally, I highly recommend that you work with local people directly if that person fits in your project, either me or someone else but avoid to work with international companies that do nothing for the project and only subcontract Peruvians to do the whole job with unfair payments.
